At Equitybee, we’re constantly working to identify new market trends and investor demand. In light of 2022’s market volatility, we conducted three comprehensive analyses to better understand the current state of the startup ecosystem.

Earlier this year we announced the Equitybee 100, an exclusive ranking of the most in-demand private companies, determined by investors on the Equitybee platform. We have now released the State of Startups: 2022, comprised of extensive surveys of private market investors and startup employees, conducted by Equitybee and Propeller Insights, respectively.

Part one of the report features results from a Propeller Insights survey, which interviewed current startup employees on a variety of topics, including: equity and compensation packages, employee benefits, hiring practices, company culture, and current market sentiments.

We encourage you to come back here for part two, which will feature results from our in-house survey, in which we interviewed accredited investors from our investor network on topics including: private company demand, new investing trends, and investing risks and concerns.
