Equitybee Stands with Israel – an open letter from our CEO

Equitybee stands with Israel – in the midst of the tragic and horrific events that occurred in Israel on October 7th, our Founder and CEO, Oren Barzilai, approached our investor community with an open letter to show our support for human rights and Israel.

Equitybee stands with Israel

Dear Equitybee Investor,

Today, it is with a heavy heart that we witness the tragedy that has befallen Israel, a country close to our hearts and an integral part of our global community. Starting on October 7th, Israel faced an unprecedented and ruthless attack from the terror organization, Hamas, causing unimaginable suffering and loss. Hamas slaughtered its victims indiscriminately, including American, European, Asian, and countless others. As of today, over 1,300 innocent civilians have been murdered and over 200 kidnapped and taken into Gaza – including elders, women, children, and infants. Similar to many other Israeli families, our own Equitybee team members have relatives and friends that were brutally murdered or taken hostage. My support and commitment to justice are with them.

Terrorism cannot be justified. People and civil societies everywhere need to stand together and condemn these heinous acts. We are committed to raising awareness and doing our part to support the people of Israel during this devastating time.

Many of you have reached out to me, asking how you can contribute and make a difference. We urge you to join us in raising awareness and unequivocally condemning terrorism. We believe in the power of collective action and would like to share a link for approved associations supporting important humanitarian causes in Israel:

Stand with Israel

Your contribution can help provide much-needed support to those affected by the recent events and promote the values of peace, unity, and humanitarian assistance.

Furthermore, Equitybee is fully committed to supporting and assisting our Israeli team members. We are dedicated to ensuring their well-being and providing any necessary support as they navigate these difficult circumstances.

Thank you for being part of the Equitybee community and for your support in making the world a better place. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by these horrific attacks.
With gratitude and hope for a brighter future,

Oren Barzilai

This website is intended solely for qualified investors. Investments in private offerings, and startup investments in particular, are speculative and involve a high degree of risk and those investors who cannot afford to lose their entire investment should not invest in such offerings. Companies seeking startup investments tend to be in earlier stages of development and their business model, products and services may not yet be fully developed, operational or tested in the public marketplace. There is no guarantee that the stated valuation and other terms are accurate or in agreement with the market or industry valuations. Additionally, startup employees’ options and equity (once options are exercised) may be subject to blackout periods or other restrictions including holding period requirements. Investments in early-stage private companies should only be part of your overall investment portfolio. Furthermore, the allocation to this asset sub-class may be best fulfilled through a balanced portfolio of different start-ups. Investments in startups are highly illiquid and those investors who cannot hold an investment for the long term (at least 5-7 years) should not invest.
